AFSCME Get Organized: Virtual Sector Events

In the first 100 days of the new administration, we have witnessed cuts to federal agencies, programs and proposed federal budget cuts that will devastate AFSCME members’ communities. There is a renewed push to roll back workers’ rights and threaten AFSCME members’ jobs and the services they provide. In response, AFSCME is hosting Get Organized briefings for workers in these sectors:

  • Correction
  • Health Care
  • Higher Education

These virtual townhalls will offer you an opportunity to hear directly from and ask questions of your union on the serious and ongoing attacks and how we can take direct action to strengthen our union, grow our power and push back against harmful policies, laws and executive orders.
