"The past few days have reminded us all how fortunate we are to have an experienced, dedicated public workforce. While most people have been safe at home, AFSCME Council 93 members across New England have been working around the clock to make our highways, roads and sidewalks safe for passage. Many other AFSCME members working in human services and other essential positions have been on the job for days, with some sleeping at work to make sure they were there for the people who need them. We're proud to represent these unsung heroes and we thank them for their commitment and hard work."
